Recently in Malaysia, we had election polls in Sarawak. For your information, this whole year has been quite the drama, since certain politicians has not been doing their politician bit.

let me be straight, I'm chinese and my Malay friends respect me just as much as i respect them.

But these politicians just ruin everything. Maybe they are not as educated? LOL

so the story was, he said he doesn't need the votes of Chinese since we are a minor and would only focus on the Malays. Alright since you want to talk like that, you have already provoked enough Chinese to vote against you. However the case in Sarawak is not a racist problem. The current government was already given decades to prove themselves and yet nothing changed. The people felt that it was time for a change. SO WE VOTE. and guess what, it's not like our vote counted right since we are so minor? but hey, we toppled the giant. but it was not out of racist problem. it was really time for a change in Sarawak.

East and West Malaysia is progressing at different levels. If you were to go to Sarawak, you won't feel that it is part of KL or any parts of West Malaysia. So please, if you keep discriminating people, maybe it is your own opinion that people are racist because you were in the first place.

And after the election, they wanted to make a 1Melayu 1 bumiputera movement.

HOW CONTRADICTING ARE YOU WITH THE 1MALAYSIA?

so means what? the government doesn't keep their word and theme?

so now you are going to single out people by their races?

let's not make it sound so silly to people overseas please, you're making our country sounding so uneducated.

p.s we want politicians that think of the benefit of the people, not putting up RM5 million to provide emails that i can get for free!

follow guan eng's advice, provide the wi-fi first and then only the e-mails.

since 40% of malaysians have no internet yet. especially in rural areas. make a change. Sarawak has already decided to do that. let's aim for a change Malaysia, not for the comfort and not for corruption.

reason: to celebrate BF's birthday

So E17 and myself manage to bring Roy to his birthday celebration with him not knowing

that it was a lunch celebration. All he knew was that i am dragging him to lunch

despite the headache he had (which makes me the bad gf here*sob*)

BF was practically sad that I didn't quite understand him and personally, I felt quite bad

to drag him when he was not feeling well and he was under dress =P

But it was a good celebration at the end of the day, and he was relieved that I was not

this selfish GF who will drag her BF just for her silly cravings. ^_^

I felt the portion is super generous. Super love their mash potato (hearts flying)

December i had a retreat to Singapore!!!

went with muai friend and Roy, who had the excuse to open an account in SG.

Our trip started off with the famous chicken rice BALLS in malacca! ^_^

i did a little bit of "foodie" research online and found out about Hoe Kee Restaurant.

Apparently you can taste the chicken broth in the balls and i agree!!!

If they were not rice, i would have eaten like, 15 of these!

they are so yuuummyy~ (dipped with the chicken rice chilli)

The reason why i choose Hoe Kee instead of the others was cause of the interior.

Felt like i have been absorbed into a world of kung fu. *haiyak~*

This river is an ancient history! though it kind of stinks now (@..@)

The legendary Christ Church (i know i've gained weight, so losing it shall be my new year resolution)

the locals there are much more friendlier than the KL locals. When i talked in English, at least they replied back the same language =)

1.MOS burger!!

We don't have it in Malaysia and i soo loveeee the concept. for some reason i felt Singapore's MOS burger is better than Taiwan's. =((

As soon as me and Roy stepped out the MRT, we saw giants! I MEAN GIANTS!!!they were kind enough to don't fee fi foo fum me and Roy, and took pictures with us =D

so off we went to Bugis junction, my reason number two! we found this really cute signage..hehe

So we walked further and HEY PRESTO!!WE FOUND IT!!!

truly happy and contented.

Next day we went to Marina Bay Sands,

one remarkable thing bout Singaporeans is that they can walk walk WALK for so long and not feel tired. Their thighs or leg are small if you asked me, i think Malaysians too pampered already. =P

super super love their MRT system. T.T

another thing about Singaporeans, they can sleep on the train and just suddenly wake up, and walk off their exact station! like how they even know right? they could also sleep standing. gosh, i think they started practice since young! @.@

This was in front of the mall, it was so thick and bizarre.

why bizarre?if you were to stand across me like in the picture, and i talked into the "bowl" you could hear me although you were like 10 feet away. cool right?

Because of this trip down to Singapore, i found another reason why i should visit Singapore soon.

JA JA JANG!!!! The Soup Spoon!! this is Singapore's very own!!

the name obviously suggested of the type of dished they serve there, none other than soup, as the main course, they have things that make Malaysians go hungry all the time, like Beef Goulash, Clam Chowder, Mushroom soup (of course), etc. etc. and i absolutely ADORE/LOVE/GO CRAZY over it. it's about $8 for a bowl of hearty soup~

Upgrade it to a set with additional muuneys, and you will get what i get =D

This is Orchard Road, but i don't think it is all the glam this year. Maybe my snow trip to Korea beat them flat! And Singapore is really hot!!! @.@ gosh even at night, it's hot!

The Bugis Street, shopping time!!! but i found this fruit shop selling any fruit juices for $1, cheap!

you could get coconut, banana shake, strawberry, whatever, you name it, they have it. good to cool down when you're shopping there =)

We have already tried the chicken soup, so we are trying the beef goulash this time!! =)

this looks pretty yummy !!

he ordered pita this round. chicken and mushroom.

For beef lovers, this is a must. the fragrance of the beef is in every scoop. It is not a dilute soup, mind you! Every soup in The Soup Spoon is thick and very fulfilling! they come with different type of bread to accompany your soup palette =) nice right?

recently in Malaysia, there was this video that went circulating about.
Again, because of ONE INSENSITIVE specific person of a specific race, choose to insult the WHOLE another specific race, how is that she is not brought to court or whatever nonsense after effects she has caused. HOW MANY TIMES we let insults pass one after another?

With every passing insult we just keep quiet and the whole ONE race wants to attack when an individual response with a song aiming to only THAT specific individual. NOTE: Namewee is not attacking the whole malay race! read his profile, GOODNESS SAKE.

He is a creative, Patriotic and contributed to Malaysia's fame. Just because he is unhappy his race got attacked, and posted a video out of that, YOU GUYS ON THE TOP SUDDENLY WANNA LUCUT HIS WARGANEGARA? please, you sound so child like. If you want to do that, THEN EXECUTE FORFEITING WHOEVER THAT INSULTS OTHER RACE!

racism is a sensitive issue in Malaysia, and the government is only seen to punish other races that insults the malay race indirectly. Never before other race will act first and insult you guys. we respect you. please respect us. Yes you can say Malaysia belongs to the malays. but let me remind you in YOUR HISTORY BOOKS if you read! Malaysia is only formed through the agreement of ALL races and it was only given WHEN 2/3 agreed to the concept. SO now 53 years down the road you still want to say malaysia is yours only? that is shallow. we were born here. Tanah melayu (previous name of Malaysia) belongs to the native bumiputera, Malays, and sarawak and sabah to their own native. But Malaysia natives (as agreed ) are all races that took part in the first ever election. without the other races, Malaysia would never be born.

I have many malay friends and NOT ONE will insult other races. so why the principle of a school do it? please don't be all racist and say we insult your race, we never did! show in the song that namewee said about malays? you can't cause there is not. neither did he even said it was siti nurhaliza. he said the principle! now if you want to settle things? ASK FOR AN APOLOGY FOR ALL THOSE WHO CAME WITH THE RACIST INSULT. don't drag your whole race just for what you done wrong! nobody likes being disrespected.

NO ONE...if you want to be disrespected for your race, you are welcome to be the first. 1malaysia?
take racism remarks seriously. then only you proceed with your 1 Malaysia. you can't progress without countering the problem. it will be of a broken country if you do without a strong foundation.

MAY the month of mayhem..haha..this is the month where its the peak for most college and Universities student and since i'm one...buhahaha..not exempted..T.T

unfortunately, this month has been a super hectic and emotional roller coaster for me. today i had someone said things that hurt me so much. how much? just enough to make me cry non stop for 30 minutes till i get my nose stuck stuck STUCK and leaving me difficulty to inhale oxygen.

it's never easy. i hate this situation as much as i could. can't you just understand and let me enjoy not make me sad every one or two days or so? i cry for no reasons sometimes. i cry over how i should react, how should i treat you, how could i make things better.

i spend time just to be with you when i can but you kept asking for more beyond my limit that i could provide. i have other things in my mind as well.

and now you want to take charge and do things your way. fine. im tired. let me just rest. i just want to disappear. you have no idea. how hurt i feel because of what you said. and yet u don't say anything bout it. no i wont pick up your calls. not anymore. it hurts to see your name that appears . you that don't understand me. you that never "Tam" me once you made me grieve.

im tired. really. just let me sleep .i just want to bury myself in my own hole. and bury myself deep. to cry. and to cry. and to pour out my emotions that i sacrificed so much of to you. thank you for trying to pour in .but i never like your excuses that stops you from pouring in full. you see, im really based on fairness. if i pour in so much, i would assume you would have to. now it is really obvious, getting more and more clearer, that im just meant to be here alone in my room.

People always wonder why girls think so much?

believe me, we think why we think so much too. maybe it's just us being nonsensical?

i would not say just in a negative way, like when a girlfriend fights with her boy , you know, then she will start thinking lah~ boyfriends doesn't love her as much or what. but i'm talking also bout those times when girls are younger, and we have a crush on a guy? The part that the just little "movie" clips in our heads with the guy we like (Mr A) and he kisses you or stuff like that. haha..mushy stuff .

currently now, i'm thinking too much. this is where pastor kevin's sermon keeps coming in. =) i thank God for such a great and handsome pastor! woots~

1. even if you were to go out with her as a friend. even if she is your friend. yet you know she likes you, and you tell me you will deal with her your way cause she is your friend. period. and to me, wao, okay.so when i have a guy friend that likes me, i deal with it my way cause he is my friend. but dealing it your way means you still continue going out with her as a normal friend and ignoring the bit that SHE LIKES YOU..is a little bit not sincere to me =).so i emo now~

2. she gets to see you more than me. like in one week, she meets up with you more than i do. if i go out with you one day, she sees you the next day like 3 times .

3. goes travelling with you, hmm..i did very strongly say i dont like it. however, since i SHOULD be open minded, in which i always fail..hahaz..so what if she goes with a bunch of your buddies..especially if you guys are classmates or church mates or same cell group..so your connection memang allows you to go out together more often naturally, if by all means you already said no to her at first, yet cause our other friends keep taking turns to ask you to go. then you went. then on the way home she says she wanna meet you again to pass you something. ironic how i SHOULD not feel anything by now. oooo and yes...you throw the" she's my friend so how i deal with her is my problem not yours and i don't wanna hurt her" tada~~ emo again

4. when i dont see you, simple. of corz i will emo. i feel that my bf should want WANT to see me on his own initiative. cause you're not my bf , doesn't mean that you should stop that from asking me out.

my first chinese new year kicked starts! with a reunion lunch instead of dinner!!
(how innovative)

but unfortunately all the younger generation prefers some chinese food!
we want our usual sharkfin soup, mushroom dishes, bbq chicken, yam thingy majiggy (sorry i dont know what's it called in english) and rice! roar

its ok la...so i had my lunch at hilton hotel, Petaling Jaya

i've been so busy lately arrrrghhh but im glad the rush is over

for the past one month n more...i havent had enuf sleep.

we have a gala dinner to commenmorate our anniversary..

stupid education minister decided to drop english just coz the stats show
"ever since science and maths have been taught in english, the percentage dropped significantly"

how stupid can he be??...sure it dropped...how many ppl's english..especially RURAL AREA..
were sufficient enuf to make them understand..what they r studying

I STUDIED IN BM and i had some difficulties doing A levels..
so what is wrong with them?..JUST STUDY ENGLISH LA

my sister did hers in english and she did great!..
the only problem it dropped is bcoz the stupid new generation of teachers are not teaching them in english!!
they stil teaching in bm...of corz ppl will get confuse..
they oso never even check on how "good" the quality of teachers are these days..

it was converting the UNI's languages in BM tat made UM dropped ranking..
